Residential

New house, going up from the foundation

A ground-up residential build on a lot that falls away steeply at the back, which put a full storey of foundation wall under the house before any of it was visible from the street. It was framed over the winter, closed in, and is being clad through the summer. The sequence below stops where the job currently stands rather than at a handover, because it has not had one yet.

Scope

  • Excavation and foundations
  • Timber framing across three levels
  • Roof structure and covering
  • Sheathing, weatherproofing and siding
  • Interior rough-in
  • Stone fireplace and chimney breast
