Terms, privacy and accessibility.
Three documents and a handful of statements of fact, on one page because there is no reason to make anybody hunt through four. Last updated 25 August 2026.
Terms of use
This website is published by Aruci Development LLC, a construction company working in New York. It exists to describe what the company does and who it does it for. Using the site means accepting what is set out here.
Nothing on this site is an offer, a quotation or a contract. Scopes, prices, schedules and terms come out of a written proposal and agreement signed by both sides, and only that agreement governs a project. Where the two ever disagree, the agreement is right and this site is out of date.
Descriptions of completed work are accurate as far as we know at the time of writing. They describe what was built on a particular site under particular conditions, and they are not a warranty of what any other project will cost, contain or look like.
The site is provided as it stands. We do not warrant that it will be available without interruption or free of error. To the fullest extent the law allows, Aruci Development LLC is not liable for loss or damage arising from the use of this site or from reliance on anything published on it. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for personal injury caused by negligence.
Links to other websites are there for convenience. We do not control them, we do not endorse them by linking to them, and we are not responsible for their content.
These terms are governed by the law of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the state and federal courts sitting in New York have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.
What is on this page can change. The date at the top of it is the date it last did.
Privacy
The short version is that this website collects nothing about you, because there is nothing on it built to. The longer version is the rest of this section, and it is worth reading precisely because so much of it is a list of things that do not happen.
What the site does not do
- There is no form anywhere on it. Nothing you do on the site is sent to us.
- It sets no cookies, and stores nothing in your browser.
- There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no tracking of any kind.
- There is no third-party embed, no map, no video player and no font loaded from somebody else's server. Every file the site asks for comes from this domain, so no other company learns that you visited.
- Nothing is sold, shared, rented or traded. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act the words sale and sharing carry specific meanings, and neither happens here.
What is recorded
The server that delivers these pages keeps ordinary request logs, as effectively every web server does: the requesting address, the time, the page asked for, and the browser that asked. They exist to keep the site running and to notice when it is being attacked. They are not joined to anything, not used to build a profile of anybody, and not shared.
What happens when you get in touch
If you telephone or write to us, we have what you chose to tell us. That is normally a name, a way of reaching you back, and a description of a building. We use it to answer you and to do the work, we keep it for as long as the project and our record-keeping obligations require, and we do not put it to any other use. If you would rather we did not keep it, say so and we will delete what we are not obliged to retain.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. Because the site itself collects nothing, such a request concerns whatever you sent us by email or told us on the telephone. Write to info@arucidevelopment.com and we will answer.
The site does not track anybody, so a Do Not Track header or a Global Privacy Control signal has nothing here to switch off. Both are honoured by there being nothing to honour.
Children
This site is aimed at people commissioning construction work. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Accessibility
The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, at level AA. That standard is the one United States courts and regulators point to when they are asked what an accessible website means.
What that amounts to here:
- Headings run in order, and the page structure is real markup rather than styling.
- A skip link is the first thing the keyboard reaches, and every control can be operated from the keyboard with a focus outline that is actually visible.
- Text contrast is checked against the level AA floor, including the muted grey used for secondary copy and the type set over photographs and video.
- Photographs that carry information have text alternatives. Photographs that are decoration are marked as decoration, so a screen reader passes over them instead of reading a filename aloud.
- Every animation on the site stops under the operating system's reduce-motion setting, including the background video, which pauses rather than looping. No video has sound.
- The layout reflows down to a 320 pixel viewport without a horizontal scrollbar, and nothing depends on hovering or on a pointing device.
Accessibility is not a state a site arrives at and stays in, and we would rather hear about a problem than not.If any part of this site stops you getting to information you need, write toinfo@arucidevelopment.com or call917-299-3290, and we will give you the same information another way and fix the page.
Photography and content
The text, the design and the company's own project photography on this site belong to Aruci Development LLC and may not be reproduced without permission.
Some photographs and video on this site are stock, and do not show work by Aruci Development. They are licensed from Pixabay under its content licence and they are there to set a scene at the top of a section, not to represent a project. Everything presented as our work is our work: the residential and commercial sections, the project pages, and every photograph with a caption describing what was built. Nothing on this site is a photograph of somebody else's project offered as one of ours.
The two typefaces, Archivo and Inter, are used under the SIL Open Font License. The licence texts are served alongside the fonts themselves.
Licensing, insurance and estimates
Licence details, certificates of insurance and references are provided on request, and before work begins on a project rather than after it.
Residential construction in New York carries statutory protections that sit with the contract rather than with this website: what a written home improvement agreement has to contain, the period within which a homeowner may cancel one, and the way deposits have to be held. Those are set out in the agreement for the project, which is the document that governs it, and we will walk through them with you before anybody signs anything.
Notices
Legal notices, privacy requests and anything else on this page should go toinfo@arucidevelopment.com, or to 917-299-3290 if it is quicker to say than to write. Aruci Development LLC works throughout New York.
